Summary

West Coast Environmental Law is excited to be a part of a new research project that seeks to advance scholarship on Indigenous law and sustainable water co-governance. Working with Indigenous communities in northern and western Canada, the Decolonizing Water project will create tools to support Indigenous water co-governance and devise concrete strategies for governance reforms to support the uptake of these tools.

The research is supported by Partnership Grant funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
