Join West Coast Environmental Law for a free public webinar that considers how we can leverage the law to address root causes of harm, equalize power imbalances, and co-create an equitable and sustainable future.
Last summer, West Coast started a conversation around environmental racism experienced by BIPOC and marginalized communities in BC and Canada, which often leaves these communities more vulnerable to and disproportionately impacted by environmental challenges.
Now, we will continue this important dialogue and discuss solutions grounded in Indigenous and Canadian law. Together we’ll explore approaches to advance environmental justice through an anti-oppressive lens.
This event will also include a Q&A and discussion period. If you have specific question(s) that you would like to be addressed during the webinar, please enter them in the "Questions & Comments" box below.
