Coquitlam Film Screening: The Power of Big Oil

Join us for an engaging documentary screening that explores the urgent need for climate action for a sustainable future. Following the screening there will be a facilitated discussion to explore how Coquitlam can get involved in a BC campaign to hold big polluters accountable for climate costs facing the city. 

This event is organized by West Coast Environmental Law, Force of Nature Alliance Tri-Cities, and Sue Big Oil Tri-Cities.

This inspiring and thought-provoking documentary film exposes the fossil fuel industry’s history of casting doubt and delaying action on climate change. View the trailer here.

Following the film, guest speakers Megan Lahti (Mayor of Port Moody) and Fiona Koza (Climate Accountability Strategist, West Coast Environmental Law) will elaborate on how big polluters can be held accountable for climate costs, and there will be an opportunity to share your thoughts, insights and questions.
