Show your support - United Against Enbridge

Commencing October 1, eight First Nations will stand up in court against Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines. These Nations, along with four non-profit groups and a labour union, have filed legal challenges to the federal government’s conditional approval of the Northern Gateway Pipeline. These cases will be heard over six days, Oct. 1-2 and 5-8. You can read about the legal challenges here, and check out an easy infographic here.

We are at a crucial historical moment. Many British Columbians will gather outside the courthouse on October 1 for a #United Against Enbridge Solidarity Rally to stand with First Nations who in court this week. This event is convened by the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs. We hope to see you at the rally!

Even if you can’t be there in person, please consider sending a short letter of support. West Coast lawyers will be at the Federal Court of Appeal with our clients and we will be sure to deliver copies any messages received to the nations who are challenging Enbridge in court.

Take a moment to send a letter of solidarity to the Nations standing in court starting on Oct 1, 2015.
