Since 2020, the province has been co-developing a Coastal Marine Strategy with First Nations. They collected feedback from people across BC and consulted stakeholders from different marine sectors. This strategy was made in BC for BC!
This is an opportunity for us to transition from being reactive to proactive when it comes to protecting and managing our coast, especially in the face of intensifying climate change impacts.
