Erica Stahl - Staff Counsel
Erica joined West Coast in October 2016 to oversee the administration of the Environmental Dispute Resolution Fund (EDRF) and provide summary advice to members of the public on a wide range of environmental legal issues. She came to West Coast from the Canadian Environmental Law Association in Toronto, where she worked on test case litigation and progressive reform of environmental legislation. Erica holds a joint Masters of Environmental Studies/Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, and broadened her legal education through summers with the Environmental Law Centre in Victoria and with the Fundación de Estudios para la Aplicación del Derecho in El Salvador.
Originally from Vancouver, Erica prefers rain over snow unless she can ski on it. Besides skiing, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and cycling. She wishes she liked surfing, but she’s just not cool enough.
